Big changes are among us once Facebook removes all FBML tabs!

Did you catch Facebook’s previous announcement regarding fan pages?

That change finally happens this week…. and it will affect you!

Ever heard of FBML? Currently, there are over 100 million pages that still have FBML tabs installed.

Why does this matter?

When Facebook removes all FBML tabs on June 6th, these tabs will disappear into the Facebook abyss, never to be seen again… Yikes!

This is what Facebook has to say about the FBML tab changes

“On June 6th, FBML apps will no longer work on Platform.” – Facebook Developer Blog

With countless millions of FBML monthly users today, when Facebook removes all FBML tabs, this removal will have a large and far reaching impact on Fan Page admins that may not be aware of the news.

In short, any fan page tab that was created with the Static FBML application will no longer work. In Facebook’s early days, FBML was one of the only options Fan Page admins had to customize their tabs.

How to save your FBML tabs

To save your FBML tabs you can do one of two things.

First, if you can open your fan page FBML tab – open Lujure, and remake your tab. We’ll ensure your tab isn’t affected by future Facebook changes.
