Introducing the Heyo Form Widget

You’ve asked for more flexibility in forms, and you’ve got it! We here at Heyo are pleased to introduce the Heyo Form Widget, a new way to capture more data from your fans!
This is our next step towards making the email forms on Heyo Templates more flexible, and we couldn’t be more excited! The Heyo Form Widget is easily customizable, and allows you to ask for whatever information you might want from fans. Click here to test it out!
The Heyo Form Widget
The Heyo Form Widget let’s you create custom forms to collect data about your fans in a snap. Each part of the form corresponds to a column on a CSV file, which you can download at anytime from the Heyo Dashboard! Collecting and organizing contact information for email lists has never been this easy!
The Heyo Form Widget is featured on our Lead Capture Templates, and can also be used on any of our Drag-and-Drop Templates.
Say you are trying to get fans’ names and phone numbers, as well as emails using a Heyo campaign. You can now do that with the Heyo Form Widget! All you have to do is customize the fields already present when you add the Heyo Form Widget to your drag-and-drop campaign, using the widget options on the right-hand side of the screen.
Or, change around the fields built into the Lead Capture Templates, using the same options! You can rearrange the fields by clicking and dragging the name of the field to the desired location, in the ‘Customize Your Sign Up Form’ area.
Note: Because all of the Heyo Form Widget fields are required, a fan will have to fill out the entire form before submitting. While this guarantees that you’ll get the information you ask for, watch out – too many required fields can discourage fans from signing up for your email list.
Once you have your fields figured out, you can customize the look of your form using the advanced options on the right-hand side of the screen.
Pro Tip: Be sure to add a customized ‘Thank You’ page – either from your website or as a hosted document – to add just a little bit more personality to your form experience.
Once you’ve set up your form and customized it to collect the data you need, all you have to do is click publish and let the form do it’s thing!
